How to transfer your data from Palm Desktop to Outlook

I am getting a new iPhone and unfortunately will be unable to use my beloved Palm Desktop application with it. I spent hours trying to create a csv file in excel with no luck to try and get my data from my Palm to Outlook. It kind of worked but there was a lot of data that was missing. After messing around searching Google and Youtube for a solution.   I came to the conclusion that I might need to call Palm and pay their $14.99 consulting fee. The simple solution to the problem was to use their free application called Desktop Mirror.  What a piece of cake.  I typically would not put this kind of information on my website but I thought it might be useful information to a lot of Palm users that want to sync with Outlook easily.  I was surprised that I could not find anything in the search engines that was useful to solve the problem.  The only one I had was to call Palm directly.
